    Re: Worth it?

Be an adult violence is not the answer next time make sure that you are doing nothing that you can get in trouble for.

Not trying to be a smartass but why is it the person who reported the wrong doings fault.

I hear all the time when there are a car wreck involving alchole and a minor that "Everyone knows that they were at this or that partying every saturday night" and I always think that if it is common knowlege then someone needs to do the right thing.

I am not 100% sure what your situation is in all this BUT do not do anything that that is against the law or put yourself in a position that you really do not want to be in.

    Re: Worth it?

well, we weren't drinking and driving or anything. Just a get together at a buddies house, someone from coeburn decided to be an [censored] and called the cops on us.
Not one person there was leaving, no one who drank was planning on driving, we were all staying the night there.
Sure, we broke the law by drinking underage. But we weren't going to be dumbarse's and go get in our vehicles, whenever im at a party, we have someone take all the keys and put them up somewhere til in the morning (usually give them to the sober guy).
So i mean, i do have a good reason to want to kick this guys [censored], just some punk who was upset because he wasn't there, or over who was there, i dont know.
"i asked a toothless man, who all these people were and, he said the soapmakers...and we are workin workin"

Well it does sound like you were doing things sort of right. That being said nothing good will come out of kicking someones butt over it and it could make things worse for you. Not sure how old you are right now and lord knows I did my share of underaged drinking but you are better off just waiting another year or two

    Re: Worth it?

I completely agree with Counts. It just ain't worth it. Right now, kicking some tail seems to be the logical choice. But just wait until you apply for a loan, look for a new job, or get some kind of security clearance and you have to tell them about how you did a bit for some payback. Kids can get away with that stuff. They have a different set of laws. We get the "click, click." I got busted for underage drinking back in '89 and it followed me when I enlisted. I had my physical, contract, and everything and then they asked me about my tickets. They had to send me home and then come back later. I got in, but it was a pain to make two trips to Knoxville over something stupid. If you're going to get some payback, make certain the final consequences are worth it.

You seem to be a pretty sharp person to be.

Do what you think and know is right. If you do that. I don't think i will have to tell you anything on this.

You knew not to drink and drive. You knew you was under age and you still did what was best.

If it was me. And i was your age again. I don't know. But i think in the end. I think smart wins over revenge. And revenge is best, when all you have to do, is sit back and watch it happen.

So do what is best in this.

    Re: Worth it?

No its not worth it man. Why go and do something like that. Think about it, yes, its healthy to think about it. Its stupid to go through with. It will stay with you forever, getting in trouble for something like that can ruin your life. Sure you got caught drinking underage, thats not gonna look as bad to future employers as assault and battery. Dont go down that road, do the right thing.
